Vélo Francette

The "Vélo-Francette"

Explore Vendée on the "Vélo-Francette" trail.

The cycle trail starts at the Channel and crosses through Normandy, the Mayenne valley, the Loire, the Thouet valley and the Marais Poitevin, as well as taking in the port of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.
This unforgettable journey takes riders through some of the most stunning valleys in France and past several incredible heritage sites. It is a different way to explore France, to enjoy the great outdoors and to ride along narrow streets, canals, greenways and towpaths. The "Vélo-Francette" trail passes through Vendée for 9 km, at the heart of Green Venice (the Marais Poitevin).
